Thank you for visiting the website of Dr. Casey Simmonds and Simmonds Chiropractic and Wellness. Simmonds Chiropractic and Wellness is located in Silverdale, WA. Dr. Simmonds strives for excellence through superior patient care, education and satisfaction.
Our mission at Simmonds Chiropractic and Wellness is to meet people where they are in their health journey, while empowering families to reach their optimal health through lifestyle and education. We don’t expect our patients to make all the right choices when it comes to their health, but we do expect that with our help, each and every patient will leave healthier, happier and ready to take on the world functioning at 100%!
We truly believe that healing is accomplished from the inside out. It is our job to facilitate the healing process through gentle adjustments and allow tyne body to heal itself. These adjustments help remove nerve interference caused by what we call subluxations or misalignments in the joints of the body. The nervous system controls absolutely everything in your body and it is the role of the Chiropractor to keep the nervous system free of interference so that you can function at your best. A fully functioning nervous system means feeling better, moving better, and increased immunity.
Chiropractic facilitates the natural healing process without the help of drugs or surgery. Many people think that chiropractors are only to be utilized for pain management. Although we have great results with pain, the nervous system is ONLY 8-10% sensory, meaning that pain is only a small portion of what Chiropractic can help with. We encourage questions about any and all health concerns, it may surprise you of all the health benefits Chiropractic can offer.
Meet Dr. Casey Simmonds
I grew up in Bountiful, Utah where I developed a love for sports, outdoors and my family. I was heavily involved in sports throughout my teenage years and had my first experience with chiropractic after a football injury. After this injury, I was advised to not play football again by a doctor. I decided to see a chiropractor concerning this injury and was told by him that I would be back on the field in three weeks, and I was! I never had any other problems from that injury thanks to chiropractic.
After that experience, I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor. I graduated from Bountiful High School and a couple of months later served a mission for my church from 2004-2006 in Paraguay. There I learned to speak Spanish fluently and grew a love for the people of South America. I attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah for my undergraduate studies. During that time, I met my sweet wife, Rachel and we were married in June of 2010. We then moved to Davenport, Iowa to complete my graduate degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic. In April of 2013, we had our first child, Carter, and in March of 2016, we were blessed with our little girl, Nixie Rae.
While studying at Palmer College, I dedicated as much time as possible to learning advanced techniques of chiropractic. I spent countless hours studying the Gonstead system and the art of extremity adjusting. In my last two years of school, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with one of the top extremity experts in the world. There I learned in-depth techniques of extremity adjusting and had the opportunity to teach other students these techniques. Chiropractic and helping people live their lives to their fullest potential is my passion!
I love being in the outdoors, spending time with my wife and children, wake boarding, playing sports, and camping. We currently live in Bremerton with our sweet Golden Retriever, Daisy and love being in the Pacific Northwest.
Our approach is simple. We believe that health is among our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they’ve lost their health, our commitment is two-fold.
1. Relief Care
Many people seek care in our practice and have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:
Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem, Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible, Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery, and Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care.
2. Wellness Care
We’re committed to teaching our patients that true health is a journey, not a destination. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.
You’re the Boss
Regardless of your health goals, please understand that we see ourselves as mere servants. You’re the boss! It’s your body, your health and your future. Our job is to offer you the finest chiropractic care possible in Kitsap County, make appropriate recommendations and work together to achieve your goals.
Take the first step towards relief by calling our Silverdale practice today and making an appointment to discuss your health goals.
We hope you enjoy the information within and share it with others. Again, thank you for visiting www.
Yours in health,
